Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of fuelightmedia.com and any services provided by Fuelight Media ("Fuelight Media", "we", "us", or "our"). By contacting us, requesting a quote, or engaging us for a project, you agree to be bound by these Terms. For each project, these Terms are supplemented by the specific scope, pricing, and deliverables we agree with you in writing (e.g. a proposal, invoice, or emailed confirmation).

We provide web design, web development, e-commerce, SEO, landing page, branding, and related digital services, typically offered as one of our published packages (Starter Launchpad, Growth Package, Custom Webapp) or as a custom-scoped engagement. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for your project are confirmed before work begins.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects are billed as follows: a 50% deposit is due before we begin work, and the remaining 50% is due before final delivery, launch, or handoff of the completed project. Optional annual hosting, domain, or maintenance renewals are billed separately as they come due.

Refunds, cancellations, and non-payment consequences are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You agree to provide timely feedback, content, assets, and access (e.g. domain/hosting credentials) reasonably necessary for us to complete your project. Delays in providing these may extend project timelines accordingly and are not attributable to us.

Each package or proposal includes a defined number of revision rounds. Work requested outside the agreed scope (new pages, features, or major design changes not part of the original proposal) is treated as additional work and quoted and billed separately before we proceed.

Upon receipt of payment in full, you own the final website deliverables created specifically for your project (excluding any third-party assets, stock media, plugins, fonts, or licensed software, which remain governed by their own licenses). Until full payment is received, Fuelight Media retains all rights to the work product.

Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may display completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials.

You represent and warrant that any content, images, logos, copy, or other materials you supply to us for use in your project are either owned by you or that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use them. You agree to indemnify Fuelight Media against any claims arising from content you supply.

We build and test our deliverables to a professional standard, and we will fix defects in our own work reported within 30 days of delivery at no additional cost. Beyond that, services are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (such as search rankings, traffic, or sales), as these depend on factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fuelight Media's total liability arising out of or relating to a project shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.

Either party may terminate an engagement in writing at any time. Fees for work completed up to the date of termination remain due, subject to our Refund Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belize, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties before either party pursues formal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
